In the long history of the Leipzig University, collections for teaching and research have been created in many areas of knowledge. These collections are now located in a wide variety of institutes, facilities and museums and are carefully looked after, maintained and further developed by a number of curators. Cataloging the objects in the collection is an important tool. The task of this collection portal is to extract these from the individual institutions and to make the collection objects virtually available to a wide range of users of scientists and interested citizens. Data from other portals such as Kalliope, Papyrus-Collection or Arachne are also used for objects from the Leipzig University.

The current presentation is a first version. Some collections still have to be integrated, so that the number of them will steadily increase.
